Annual Children's Christmas Party
Each year, the John Howard Society of Newfoundland holds a Christmas Party for approximately fifty socially disadvantaged children, who have parents that are, or were recently, incarcerated.
Referrals are made from Correctional Service of Canada, H. M. Penitentiary, Adult Corrections, and other John Howard Society programs. The Christmas Party is fully supported by volunteers and community donors, who provide entertainment, food and beverages for the party, children's gifts, etc. We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the numerous individuals and businesses who contribute to party’s success every year. It is much appreciated by the staff and families.
