Welcome to our new Executive Director, Melissa Noseworthy

Please help us welcome our new Executive Director Melissa Noseworthy.
Following the departure of longstanding John Howard Society Executive Director Cindy Murphy, who has retired after 33 years with the organization, the Board of Directors selected Melissa for fill the position.
Melissa brings a wealth of experience in program and policy development to this new role. She is a graduate of Memorial University, University of Victoria and Athabasca University. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Counselling Psychology. Melissa’s previous experience includes six years with the John Howard Society in both program delivery, and program management experience. Prior to JHS-NL she worked in the northern Manitoba as Child-in Care Worker, and also as Family Court Counsellor with the Supreme Court of NL.
